Every follow-up starts by rechecking the thing that was hard last time, so we can both see whether the plan is working. Hands-on treatment where it helps, then the exercise gets changed rather than repeated, because a program that stays the same for six weeks has stopped being rehabilitation. At the third visit we give you a straight read on progress. If the plan is not doing what we said it would, we will change it or refer you on rather than book you in again out of habit.

How many appointments will I need?
For a first-time back or neck problem the average here is about five. You get a written estimate at the end of the first appointment and an honest progress read at visit three.
Can I see the same physiotherapist each time?
Yes, wherever the roster allows, and that is what we aim for. If your usual clinician is away and you need to be seen, whoever takes the appointment will have read the notes first.
