Three ways to book ahead.
Paid once, used across several visits, at the fixed price on the day you buy it.
Six-visit rehabilitation block
$570
A structured plan after surgery, or a back or shoulder problem that has been going on long enough to need more than a couple of appointments
- One 45 minute initial assessment and five follow-up consultations
- The written home program updated at every visit
- A written progress read at visit three
- The same physiotherapist throughout wherever the roster allows
- Twelve months to use the visits
Home mobility visit and review
$330
Older adults, and anyone whose problem lives at home rather than in a clinic room
- One home visit within ten kilometres of Norwood
- Assessment of the actual stairs, step, bed and hallway
- A written strength and balance program
- One follow-up appointment at the clinic to progress it
Yearly movement review
$135/year
People who finished a plan, kept it up, and want to know honestly whether it is still holding
- A 45 minute reassessment of the measures we used in your plan
- The home program refreshed and progressed
- A written comparison against your discharge results
Health fund rebates
How HICAPS actually works.
- 01You pay the full appointment price at the desk, the same as any other payment.
- 02Sam taps your private health fund card on the HICAPS terminal at reception.
- 03The claim is sent to your fund electronically before you leave the building.
- 04Your fund refunds whatever your policy allows, direct to the same card, usually within a few business days.
What we cannot tell you
The rebate amount. That is set entirely by your fund and your level of extras cover, and it can change between funds and even between policies at the same fund.
What to check with your fund first
- Whether physiotherapy is included in your extras cover
- Your annual benefit limit and how much of it is left
- Whether a referral is required (most policies do not need one)

Fair notice
Four hours' notice, or half the fee applies.
Let us know at least four hours before your appointment and there is no charge. Inside that window, or a missed appointment, is charged at half the appointment fee. If something genuinely went wrong, tell Sam and he will sort it out.
